Jonathan and I went on a roommate date Saturday in the rain. I introduced him to the wonder known as punk rock donuts at Pike Place. (side note - why do people call it Pike's Place? TOURISTS.) During our date we saw: Matt Brown at the bus stop, a busker covering Two Headed Boy in a deserted stairwell, the arrest happening behind me in the photo above, and lots of overpriced clothes in the Urban Outfitters downtown. Hooray for roommate dates!

Pony and I started up our training for the half marathon on Sunday with some hills in Fremont. Hey hips, how you doin? Oh, you're a bit sore, eh? Sorry to hear that. Tonight, I've got a three mile run scheduled at the gym. Wednesday we'll do Greenlake together.

The rest of Sunday was dedicated to spring cleaning. Scrubbed the kitchen floor, washed all the windows, washed, folded and put away all of my laundry, de-pet-haired the couches, dusted, polished the piano, watered the plants, organized my bookshelf, alphabetized my record collection, scrubbed the shower and mopped the bathroom floor. *phew* Now I just need to get to work on my room and come to terms with the idea that half of my closet probably needs to be emptied and sold at our garage sale next weekend.
